The collection Abstract Modernism takes inspiration from the abstract wood reliefs and graphic paintings of Ben Nicholson. The artworks are mirrored in the oversized and minimal silhouettes as well as sharp necklines, details and layering The print work of the collection is digitally engineered to create a continuous fluid textile on each look. The looks are layered with photographic prints following the colour palette of Nicholson’s work juxtaposed against the bold graphic use of abstract shapes prevalent throughout his woodcut series. The collection includes the use of sublimation, screen print and embroidery to create a powerful, graphic and masculine collection.
